Saturday brought out a full schedule of Spring Training games for the first time this season, with all teams in action. There were definitely some great finishes on Saturday, including the Rangers losing on a walk-off homer to Kansas City. Once again, just a short recap of each game and performances from some of the stars of Major League Baseball.
Grapefruit League
New York Mets 5, Washington Nationals 3
The Mets used a pair of two run innings in the 1st and 6th to hold off the Nationals in the 2013 spring debut of Stephen Strasburg. The Mets and Nationals were sloppy defensively, with the teams combining to make 5 errors (New York 3, Washington 2).

Philadelphia jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two innings on Saturday, but Houston scored in six of the final seven innings to take an 8-3 win over the Phillies. The Astros tallied 14 hits on the afternoon and were aided by four Philadelphia errors.

The Orioles plated two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to break a 3-3 tie and then held on in the 9th inning to take a 5-3 win over the Twins in their opening game. Minnesota actually outhit Baltimore in the game, 10-9.

The Yankees used a four run 3rd inning to take a lead they would never relinquish, giving Atlanta their second consecutive loss of the spring. Robinson Cano got off to a hot start with his first homer of the spring.
